What a Hatch classroom install covers
Hatch ships the hardware; we put it where the teacher needs it and leave it powered on and joined to the school's network.
IgnitePanel, wall-mounted
65-inch interactive display (item HI0000222, VESA 600 × 400). Mounted on a stud or block wall rated for about 130 lb, within reach of the outlet, levelled, cabled, powered on. Two installers per panel.
IgnitePanel on a mobile stand
Stand assembled, panel hung and secured, cables dressed, rolled to the room and locked. For rooms that share a panel or walls that cannot take the load.
IgniteTable set-up
Interactive touch table on casters for two to four children. Unboxed, positioned, plugged in, joined to Wi-Fi and left at the teacher sign-in screen. Packaging removed.
Previous display take-down
TeachSmart or WePlaySmart units unmounted, old brackets removed and wall plates patched for paint, ready for the upgrade.
Classroom furniture
Activity tables, chairs, cubbies, storage and reading nooks assembled, levelled and anchored to spec, per room.
Network and account set-up stays with you
We connect each unit to the SSID you give us. Rostering in Hatch Insights, licences and district accounts are the school's and Hatch's work; we leave every unit at the sign-in screen.
How a school installation runs
Send the list
Your PO, the Hatch packing list or the list you built above. Every line is matched and priced; anything we cannot match is flagged.
Confirm the rooms
Classroom count, wall type, outlet distance, Wi-Fi, where deliveries sit and the hours a crew can be in the building. Asked once per site.
Approve and schedule
Approve against your PO number. Crews are assigned and the days confirmed with the site contact, over breaks or after dismissal.
Sign off room by room
Your contact signs off each classroom, with a photo of every unit powered on and anything outstanding written down.
School installation questions
How is a classroom technology install priced?
Per unit, from your list. An IgnitePanel on the wall, an IgnitePanel on a mobile stand and an IgniteTable each carry their own price. After-hours entry, multi-site scheduling and take-downs of old displays are priced once per site in the written quote. Nothing due today.
Can you install over winter or summer break, or after dismissal?
Yes. Most school work is scheduled for break weeks, teacher work days or after dismissal. Tell us the windows when you confirm the rooms and the crew days are set inside them.
Do your installers go through our district's visitor process?
Crews check in with your site contact, carry ID and follow the building's visitor rules. Crew rosters are named ahead of arrival and a certificate of insurance naming the district is issued with the quote. Tell us about any extra badging requirement at the room-confirmation step.
What wall can an IgnitePanel go on?
A stud or block wall that can carry about 130 lb, within about 9 feet of an outlet. Studless partition walls and panel dividers cannot take it; those rooms get a mobile stand instead.
Do you set up the Hatch software?
We connect each unit to the school's Wi-Fi and leave it at the sign-in screen. Licences, rostering and Hatch Insights accounts are handled by the school with Hatch.
Where do you install?
Across the US and Canada. One school or a district-wide rollout on one order, tracked site by site.
